The Catholic Charismatic Renewal (CCR) in Ghana is a movement within the Catholic Church that emphasizes the renewal and deepening of faith through the experience of the Holy Spirit. The Charismatic Renewal movement within the Catholic Church gained momentum globally in the late 20th century and continues to be an influential aspect of Catholic spirituality. The Catholic Charismatic Renewal (CCR) Ghana operates directly under the Episcopal Chairman appointed by the Catholic Bishops’ Conference and from the Conference to oversee the CCR Ghana.
