CATHOLIC CARISMATIC RENEWAL – GHANA
 
INTER-TERTIARY INSTISTUTIOINS VISION 2008
   
  VISION: Reliving the Pentecostal experience in changing the face of the entire Catholic Community on our campuses and beyond, by funning into flame the gift of the Holy Spirit. (2 Tim 1:6)
   
  MISSION: To render effective Catholic renewal and evangelization services: to build and support an effective network of Catholic Charismatic Prayer Groups in our institutions, communities and ministries; helping members to know, love, and serve God under the Lordship of Jesus Christ and in the power of the Holy Spirit; forming effective coordination in the Zones; formation of service teams and other youth leaders in the church and reaching out to the youth in the second cycle institutions.
 
GOALS
 

STAFF: To help staff, and equip the Youth Office at the National Centre, Adom Fie by 2008.

1.1 National Youth Office (NYO)

1.1.1 To help build the National Youth Office with the required number of full time staff, modern office equipment and communication facilities to ensure effective administration and coordination.

1.1.2 To support the renewal of the Ghana Catholic Church especially the youth.

1.1.3 To help the National Formation and Service Centre (FSC) realize its goal of evangelization.

1.1.4 To develop effective communication between the Alumni, to help support ITI.

  1.2 ITI National Coordinating Team (ITI-NCT)
 

To draft a document that will comprehensively tackle targets with the indicators on matters such as the following among others:

•  Projected goals and service of ITI in our institution.

•  Staffing of the national youth office.

•  Remuneration of staff of the National Youth Office (NYO).

•  Budget and sources of funding.

•  Strategies for Zonal coordination.

  2.0 FORMATION
 

To organize formation programmes for about 100 leaders in various institutions within the year.

2.1 Leadership formation.

2.1.1 Form committed Leaders at the National, Zonal and Local levels.

2.1.2 Develop a manual for leadership formation at the various levels for all leaders.

2.1.3 Promote vocations (Religious, Marriage and Family Life)

2.1.4 Remunerate and support leaders who sacrifice resources.

2.1.5 Extend the gains of ITI to all levels of church leadership.

  3.0 VISITS
  National Coordinating Team (NCT) to visit zones and locals once a year.
  4.0  MEETINGS, CONFRENCES AND PROGRAMMES
 

To organize meetings, conferences etc. towards the growth of ITI.

4.1 National Coordinating Team - Twice in a year.

4.2 Zonal meetings - At least once a year and when the need arises.

4.3 ITI Conference - once a year.

4.4 Zonal Conference - every first semester.

  5.0 MINISTRIES
 

To promote and establish effective ministries in our local groups in all institutions by the year 2008.

•  To effectively coordinate the ministries.

•  Develop the various ministries through sharing and formation programmes.

•  To promote the development of working manuals / guidelines for the ministries.

•  Provide the necessary logistics for the growth and performance of the ministries.

•  Tackle the problem of lack of committed leadership through formation.

•  To develop and support social action oriented ministries (i.e. HIV/ AIDS etc.)

•  Children / Youth Career Counseling.

  6. 0 FINANCE
 

To be financially self- supporting by raising sponsors and partners before the year 2008.

•  To encourage each renewal member to support ITI through generous donations.

•  To ensure that each institution meets its commitment to the National Youth Office.(NYO)

•  To invest in the National Youth Office.

•  To seek for partnership in ministry for funding and support in diverse ways.

•  To set up an Alumni funding base and to work on its leadership drive.

•  To ensure faithfulness, transparency and accountability of finances at all leadership levels of ITI.

  7.0  SERVICE TO THE CHURCH AND OUR NATION
 

7.1 To encourage and work at the integration of the Renewal into the life of the church at the National, Zonal, Institutional, Diocesan, Parish and local levels and also PAX ROMANA.

7.2 To promote and encourage Christian marriage and Family Life Apostolate.

7.3 To promote vocation into Priesthood and Religious Life by encouraging potential candidates.

7.4 Opening an embracing arm to the wider church, especially through invitation to ministries and formation programmes.

7.5 Promote and encourage quality Christian leadership for the Nation at all levels.
